The Plantar Fascia is a very thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes. This band of tissue is what creates the arch of the foot. When the fascia is overstretched or overused, it can become inflamed. When the fascia is inflamed, it can be painful and make walking more difficult.
We recently ran into Doug Wotherspoon, Executive Director of Advancement and asked him about First Fridays at the Observatory.
In response, he created a video message inviting all College employees to drop by First Friday every month in the OB.

Help a hospital, and ultimately its patients, in need.I am about to embark on a journey that will help raise funds not only for our local Montfort Hospital, but also for the Lukla Hospital in Nepal.
I believe that, together, we can attain our collective goal of raising $250,000 to purchase a new Mobile C-Arm for the Montfort.
