Help a hospital, and ultimately its patients, in need.I am about to embark on a journey that will help raise funds not only for our local Montfort Hospital, but also for the Lukla Hospital in Nepal.
I believe that, together, we can attain our collective goal of raising $250,000 to purchase a new Mobile C-Arm for the Montfort.
What is a Mobile C-arm?
Simply put, it is a machine that is used for a variety of diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Specifically, the Montfort will be using it in their Orthopedics Department operating room, to assist in diagnosing internal fracture fixation, such as wrists, ankle and any extremity fractures. If you or anyone you know has broken an arm, ankle or hip, this machine has most likely been used to help the doctors diagnose and assess the injury.
How will I be contributing? In addition to my attempts of raising $5,000, I have committed to the “Montfort Discovers Everest Challenge” and will be ascending the mountain to the Everest Base Camp with a group of 24 climbers. In doing so, I am asking for your support in my fundraising efforts.

If you would like to make a donation please drop by my office in C420 and purchase a healthy and nutritious “Cliff Bar” or other snack from “Jennifer’s Cantina”. All monies will go directly to the purchase of a new Mobile C-arm. A wonderful addition for the community.
